Patna: Teachers of Bihar on March 23, 2022, demonstrated at Gardanibagh here to release their stopped salary for the last 3 years.
NIOS DELED Teachers’ Association’s National President Er Debashisha Hota, Bihar Pradesh Prarambhik Sikshak Sangh President Nawal Kumar Singh, General Secretary Madan Kumar Debnath, Spokesperson Maskur Alam, Sanijv Kumar Rajak, Yashwant Kumar, Ritesh Jha, Vivek Parmar, and Rajiv Pathak led the demonstration.
Hota informed that the State Government has stopped the salary of these teachers and these victimized teachers have completed and passed a two-year DELED Course at NIOS, an agency of the Central Education Ministry.
But NIOS has not issued certificates to them, rather it hanged their future by NC Tags, Hota said.
He said that it’s unfortunate that the Bihar Government has stopped the salary of its 12 thousand teachers having NC Tags.
“The NIOS issued NC Tags to 1,80,000 teachers from All Over India, but no other State Government has stopped salary of the teachers for the same reason,” Hota said.
The protesting teachers’ leaders have appealed to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar to look into this matter seriously and release the stopped salary of the state’s 12000 teachers.
They also demanded that Nitish Kumar should request Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to issue directions for the removal of NC Tags of these victimized teachers immediately.
Hota warned that if their demands are not met then the teachers will be compelled to intensify this continuing demonstration at Patna. (Press Release)
