New Delhi: The Indian National Congress is going to launch party’s digital media platform- INC TV- on Wednesday, informed the All India Congress Committee (AICC) on Tuesday.
Later, Mallikarjun Kharge, Leader of Opposition- Rajya Sabha and General Secretary, AICC; Randeep Singh Surjewala, General Secretary, AICC; Sushmita Dev, President, All India Mahila Congress; and Srinivas B V, National President, Indian Youth Congress will also address a press conference at AICC headquarters here.
It’s notable that the grand old party has started a campaign called ‘Social Media Warrior’ and also launched its website.
The grand-old party aims to expand INC Social Media team at every village, city, state and national level in the country.
“The Congress has launched a platform to recruit people from across the country irrespective of age, gender, class, creed or caste. The nationwide campaign aims to recruit five lakh “social media warriors” to challenge the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the digital space. The Party recognises that it is time for like-minded individuals in the country to come together and defend the idea of India. As a society, we must step up, unite and fight for our democratic, secular and just Republic of India,” says an article published on INC website. (PW News)
