Deaf Rajan sets example with his artwork

Thane: Rajan Gawade (Deaf – Divyangjan) who lives in Maharashtra, is a specialist in making artwork from Golden Grass of Wheat, the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment informed today.

He is the proprietor of Rajan Project Artist and is working in this field for over 30 years.

Rajan is an expert in making Draft, Decorative work using Thermocol, specializes in Model Artist, and has experience in painting signboards.

“He is innovative in interior designing and does consulting. He lives with his mother and he runs his house on the income earned from his artwork. He takes designing work of events e.g. Wedding, Ganeshotsava, Durga Pooja, etcetera,” said the Ministry.

While working in the field, Rajan has provided guidance to many deaf persons and also provided job opportunities to them under his guidance in his organization, added the Ministry.

Specializing in making artwork from Golden Grass of Wheat, Rajan has prepared many frames of his artwork for selling.  (Press Release)
