New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today flagged off 150 Electric Buses.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) informed this via a tweet.

It quoted Kejriwal as saying that the Delhi government has made ride on these buses free for every Delhiite for the next three days.

The Delhi government has also announced to give away 3 iPads as prize to three lucky winners who would click their selfies inside the electric buses and post it on Twitter with hashtag #iRideEbus. The deadline for posting selfies is June 30, 2022.

War For Credit

However, a war on Twitter broke out for taking credit of the electric buses.

Senior Adviser, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting Kanchan Gupta said that Delhi government or Arvind Kejriwal have no role in acquiring the electric buses as they have been provided to Delhi under FAME 2 Scheme of the Modi government.
