Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on January 31, 2022, took the decision to discontinue classroom education i.e. offline education for classes of Standard I to IX in schools of the entire state till February 5, 2022, informed the state government’s press release.
This decision was taken in the Core Committee meeting that was chaired by the Chief Minister keeping in mind the existing Corona transition situation in the state and also considering the wider health interest of the students.
While specifying the role of this decision taken in Core Committee meeting, State Government Spokesperson and Education Minister Jitu Vaghani said that, only online education will continue for classes of standard I to IX till February 5, 2022.
The Education Minister further informed that the state government would now review the situation on February 5th and take appropriate decision regarding classroom teaching in schools.
