Chandigarh: Haryana Home and Health Minister Anil Vij on Wednesday said that in view of COVID-19, celebrating Holi in public places in the state will be banned.

He said that this festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm in the country, but due to COVID-19 people should celebrate this festival at their homes.

On this festival of colours, people apply colour and come in contact with each other, which increases the risk of spreading the disease, said Vij. (PR)
