New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has thanked the Union Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Delhi CM thanked the Modi government over the supply of oxygen.
“Central govt has increased Delhiās quota of oxygen. We r very grateful to centre for this (sic),” Kejriwal tweeted.
Kejriwal’s tweet came hours after Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia requested Modi government to increase the quota of oxygen supply to Delhi as nearly 18,000 Covid-19 patients are currently admitted to hospitals in the city.
Addressing a press conference, Sisodia said the Centre decides the quota of oxygen for states and the Delhi government had been demanding the Centre to increase Delhi’s quota of oxygen from 378 metric tonnes to 700 metric tonnes.
The central government is yet to take a step in this direction, he had said. (PW News)
