Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that it is my good fortune that I am getting a chance to join the Dandi Yatra being organised again on the completion of 75 years of the Yatra. The Dandi Yatra was a movement in which Mahatma Gandhi picked up a handful of salt and awakened the entire nation to Independence.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that our country is touching new heights of development under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
“Today, by organising the Dandi Yatra again, we are taking a pledge that we will take the country forward on the path of rapid development.”
Chief Minister Chouhan will participate in the Dandi Yatra from Delad in Surat to Surat district on April 1 covering a distance of 17 kilometer.
