New Delhi: The Congress on March 29, 2022, attacked the Narendra Modi government on Twitter over the price hike of petroleum products and inflation.

Following are some of the tweets by the Congress:

In another tweet in Hindi, the Congress said: “The journey of people’s life and traveling on the road both have become expensive and difficult. The journey of troubles began after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister in 2014. People have got only inflation and helplessness in the government that showed big dreams of good days (acchey din).”

In another tweet, the Congress alleged that there was a time when Prime Minister Narendra Modi used to participate in the discussions over the prices of petrol and diesel but nowadays he doesn’t utter a single word on inflation.

Interestingly, replying to the Congress’ tweet, a user posted an old news clip of Congress leader Renuka Chowdhury wherein she can be heard asking journalists that whether they are so poor that they can’t afford buying a gas cylinder at the rate of Rs. 900.
