New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has greeted people for the festivals today and over the next few days.
He said that “these festivals showcase India’s diversity and the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’.”
Greeting people on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted: “Best wishes on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi. May the auspicious festival bring happiness and prosperity in everyone’s lives. This festival has a special link with nature and our hardworking farmers. May our fields flourish and may it inspire us to care for our planet.”
Greeting people on the auspicious occasion of Nav Samvatsar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted: “Happy Nav Samvatsar (New Year) to all the countrymen. This holy occasion shall bring joy in everyone’s life.”
Greeting people on the auspicious occasion of Navratri, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted: Best wishes for Navratri. Many good wishes of Navaratri to the countrymen. Jai Mata Di (Hail mother Goddess)”.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted people on Navreh.
In a tweet, PM Modi said: “Navreh greetings to you all! On the special occassion of Navreh, praying for a year filled with joy and success. I also pray for the good health and well-being of everyone.”
Greeting people on Gudi Padwa, PM Modi tweeted: “Greetings on Gudi Padwa. May the coming year bring good health and prosperity in everyone’s lives.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted people on Cheti Chand.
“Greetings on Cheti Chand, particularly to the Sindhi Community. May the special blessings of Lord Jhulelal always remain upon us. I pray that everyone’s wishes be fulfilled in the coming year,” PM Modi tweeted.
Greeting people on Ugadi, PM Modi tweeted: Wishing everyone on the special occasion of Ugadi. This festival is about hope and new beginnings. May Ugadi bring abundance of happiness and prosperity in everyone’s life.”
The PM also extended Ugadi greeting in Telugu.
He also greeted people in Kannada.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed Sajibu Cheiraoba greetings to the people of Manipur.
In a tweet, PM Modi said: “Sajibu Cheiraoba greetings to the people of Manipur. Best wishes for a happy and healthy year ahead.”
Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed best wishes on the start of the Holy Month of Ramzan.
“Best wishes for the holy month of Ramzan. Greetings on the start of Holy Month of Ramzan. Ramzan gives an important message of serving the needy and underprivileged. It also reaffirms the importance of equality, brotherhood and compassion,” PM Modi tweeted.
