New Delhi: Former Congress President and MP Rahul Gandhi on September 24, 2021, once again targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter over China.

Sharing a video in which glimpses of some news related to the India-China border dispute are visible, Gandhi tweeted: “Mr 56” is afraid of China.”

It’s notable that as the BJP’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi in 2014 had talked about having a 56-inch chest at a rally in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Rahul constantly attacks PM Modi on the issue of borders with China.

Recently, the Congress leader shared the headline of a news clipping that said China is ramping up its border infrastructure. On this, Rahul Gandhi had tweeted and said, “We are facing a new war paradigm on our borders. Ignoring it won’t work.”

On 15/16 June 2020, a skirmish between India and China at Galwan River Valley in Ladakh resulted in the deaths of 20 Indian soldiers and casualties of 43 Chinese soldiers.

Later, talks started between the two countries regarding the process of disengagement. (PW News)
