Ranchi: Ajeya Raj, a resident of Garhwa and differently abled international level Boccia player met Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren at Jharkhand Legislative Assembly.
He apprised the Chief Minister that he was selected in the Indian Boccia team. He will represent the country in the Boccia International game to be held in December this year. He urged the Chief Minister to provide ball and ramp to be used in the Boccia game.
The Chief Minister assured Ajeya Raj to provide all possible help, said a government press release.
Raj apprised the Chief Minister of his achievements in the Boccia game. He said that he has participated in many national and international competitions and has also won medals. He had won a bronze medal in the national competition held in the year 2018 and a silver medal in the year 2021, while in 2019 he represented the Indian team in the international competition held in Dubai.
He urged the Chief Minister that with the support of the government, he can bring laurels to the state and the country with his performance.
