The restrictions on the use of the material and content on Politics Watch by the Visitor/Reader/User/Minor/Subscriber/ Paid Subscriber are specified below. Except where specifically authorised, the Visitor/Reader/User/Minor/Subscriber/ Paid Subscriber may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute in any way any material from this site including code and software.

Politics Watch hereby grants You a limited, non-exclusive, non-assignable, and non-transferable license to access The Site provided and expressly conditioned upon Your agreement that all such access and use shall be governed by all of the Terms and Conditions set forth in this Terms of Use document.

3) MINOR USERS:

Since the Internet allows access to any webpage on the World Wide Web (WWW/HTTPS/HTTP) to everyone including Minors, https://politicswatch.in/ can be accessed by anyone who is connected to the Internet.

If Minors (individuals under the age of 18-years) visit https://politicswatch.in/ and access various sections/features of The Site then THEY SHALL ONLY DO SO UNDER THE GUIDANCE/INVOLVEMENT OF THEIR PARENTS/LEGAL GUARDIANS.

4. SUBSCRIPTION FEE AND REFUND

Subscription Fee: Politics Watch intends to be a 100% people-funded media platform in order to pursue Sensible and Responsible Journalism. Therefore, The Site offers various Subscription Plans.

You are requested to Join 1 Rupee Campaign and become a Paid Subscriber.

Though the access to The Site has not been restricted, Politics Watch Reserves the Right to restrict certain part(s) of The Site to the Paid Subscribers only without giving any notice to You.

Refund: Politics Watch does not offer Refund

5) COPYRIGHT & NO RETRANSMISSION OF INFORMATION:

Politics Watch as well as the design and information contained in The Site is the valuable, exclusive property of PW, and nothing in this Terms of Use document shall be construed as transferring or assigning any such ownership rights to You or any other person or entity.

You may not resell, redistribute, broadcast, or transfer information, software and applications or use the information, software, and applications provided by Politics Watch in a searchable, machine-readable database unless separately and specifically authorized in writing by PW prior to such use.

You may not rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, transfer, copy, reproduce, publicly display, publish, adapt, store, or time-share Politics Watch, any part thereof, or any of the software, application, or information received or accessed therefrom to or through any other person or entity unless separately and specifically authorised in writing by Politics Watch prior to such use.

In addition, You may not remove, alter or obscure any copyright, legal or proprietary notices in or on any portions of Politics Watch without prior written authorization. Except as set forth herein, any other use of the information, software, or application contained in this site requires the prior written consent by PW and may require a separate fee.

6) DELAYS IN SERVICES:

Politics Watch shall not be liable to You for any loss or liability resulting, directly or indirectly, from delays or interruptions due to electronic or mechanical equipment failures, telephone interconnect problems, defects, weather, strikes, lockdown, walkouts, fire, Acts of God, riots, armed conflicts, acts of war, or other similar causes.

PW shall have no responsibility to provide You access to Politics Watch while The Site faces interruption due to any aforementioned cause(s).

7) LIABILITY DISCLAIMER:

YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT THE USE OF POLITICS WATCH IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

IN NO EVENT, SHALL POLITICS WATCH BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OF THE SITE OR WITH THE DELAY OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, OR FOR ANY CONTENTS, INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, PRODUCTS, FEATURES AND SERVICES OBTAINED THROUGH THE SITE, OR OTHERWISE ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF POLITICS WATCH, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF POLITICS WATCH HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF DAMAGES.

8) USE OF MESSAGE BOARDS, CHAT ROOMS, AND OTHER COMMUNICATION FORUMS:

Politics Watch may contain discussion/message/bulletin board, chat room, or other message or communication facilities (collectively, ‘Forums’).

You agree to use the Forums only to send and receive messages and material that are proper and related to the particular Forum.

By way of example, and not as a limitation, You agree that when using the Forums, You shall not do any of the following:

• Defame, abuse, harass, stalk, threaten, or otherwise violate the legal rights (such as rights of privacy and publicity) of others,

• Publish, post, distribute or disseminate any defamatory, infringing, obscene, indecent, or unlawful material or information,

• Upload files that contain software or other material protected by intellectual property laws (or by rights of privacy of publicity) unless you own or control the rights thereto or have received all necessary consents,

• Upload files that contain viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage the operation of another’s computer/mobile/tablet/ or any other Internet-connected device,

• Conduct or forward surveys, contests, or chain letters,

• Download any file posted by another user of a Forum that you know, or reasonably should know, cannot be legally distributed in such a manner,

All Forums are Public and not Private communications. Chats, postings, conferences, and other communications by Visitor/Reader/User/Minor/Subscriber/ Paid Subscriber are not endorsed by Politics Watch, and such communications shall not be considered reviewed, screened, or approved by Politics Watch.

PW reserves the right for any reason to remove without notice any contents of the Forums received from Visitor/Reader/User/Minor/Subscriber/ Paid Subscriber, including without limitation message board postings.

9) EQUIPMENT AND OPERATION

You shall provide and maintain all telephone/Internet and other equipment necessary to access Politics Watch, and the costs of any such equipment and/or telephone/Internet connections or use, including any applicable taxes, shall be borne solely by You.

You are responsible for operating your own equipment used to access The Site.

10) THIRD-PARTY SITES/LINKED SITES

The links/hyperlinks in The Site will allow You to leave Politics Watch and visit the Third Party Sites/Linked Sites, which are not under the control of PW.

Politics Watch has not reviewed, nor approved Third Party Sites/Linked Sites and is not responsible for the contents or omissions of any Third Party Sites/Linked Sites or any links contained in Third Party Sites/Linked Sites. The inclusion of links/hyperlinks of Third Party Sites/Linked Sites does not imply endorsement by Politics Watch of Third Party Sites/Linked Sites.

Your visit to Third Party Sites/Linked Sites will be at Your own risk. Any use of the Third Party Sites/Linked Sites will be subject to and any information You provide will be governed by the Terms of Use/Terms and Conditions/Privacy Policy of the Third Party Sites/Linked Sites, including those relating to confidentiality, data privacy and security.

11) INDEMNIFICATION:

YOU SHALL INDEMNIFY, DEFEND AND HOLD HARMLESS POLITICS WATCH FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS AND LOSSES IMPOSED ON, INCURRED BY OR ASSERTED AS A RESULT OF OR RELATED TO:

(a) Your access and use of The Site

(b) any non-compliance by Visitor/Reader/User/Minor/Subscriber/ Paid Subscriber with the terms of this Terms of Use Agreement hereof; or

(c) any third party actions related to Visitor’s/Reader’s/User’s/Minor’s/Subscriber’s/ Paid Subscriber’s receipt and use of the information, whether authorised or unauthorised. Any clause declared invalid shall be deemed severable and not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder. These terms may only be amended in a writing, signed by Politics Watch.

12) CONFLICTING TERMS:

If there is any conflict between this ‘Terms of Use’ and other documents, these ‘Terms of Use’ shall govern, whether such other documents are prior to or subsequent to this User Agreement, or are signed or acknowledged by Politics Watch.

13) CONFIDENTIALITY/NON-COMPETITION CLAUSE:

YOU AGREE TO KEEP THE INFORMATION AND SERVICES RECEIVED FROM POLITICS WATCH CONFIDENTIAL AND WILL NOT DISCLOSE THE KNOWLEDGE GAINED BY THE RECEIVED INFORMATION AND SERVICES TO ANY PERSON OR FIRM FOR ANY REASON.

14) TERMINATION:

This Terms of Use Agreement and the license rights granted hereunder shall remain in full force and effect unless terminated or canceled for any of the following reasons:

(a) immediately by Politics Watch for any unauthorised access or use by You;

(b) immediately by Politics Watch if You assign or transfer (or attempt the same) any rights granted to You under this Terms of Use Agreement;

Termination or cancellation of this Terms of Use Agreement shall not affect any right or relief to which Politics Watch may be entitled.

Upon termination of this Terms of Use Agreement, all rights granted to You will terminate and revert to Politics Watch. Except as set forth herein, regardless of the reason for cancellation or termination of this Terms of Use Agreement, the fee charged, if any, for access to PW is non-refundable for any reason.

C. PRIVACY POLICY

Politics Watch values Your privacy. PW is committed to be transparent about the data collected about You, how it is used, and with whom it is shared.

PW collects limited information about Your computer’s/mobile’s/tablet’s/or any other Internet Enabled Device’s connection to the Internet, including Your IP (Internet Protocol) address, when You visit Politics Watch.

Please note that Your IP address does not identify You personally. The Site also collects and may store information that Your computer/mobile/tablet/or any other Internet-Connected Device provides to Us in connection with Your use of our website such as Your browser type, type of computer or mobile device, browser language, IP address, mobile carrier, unique device identifier, location, and requested and referring URLs.

The terms of this Terms of Use Agreement are exclusively based on and subject to Indian law. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in New Delhi, India in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of Politics Watch.

Use of Politics Watch is unauthorised in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these terms and conditions, including without limitation to this paragraph.

E. AFFILIATE DISCLOSURE:

The Posts or Pages of Politics Watch may contain affiliate links for products where The Site may earn an affiliate fee if You complete a purchase via those links.
