Uttarakhand Minister Harak Singh Rawat expelled from cabinet, BJP

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expelled Uttarakhand Minister Harak Singh Rawat from the Cabinet as well as from the party.

News agency ANI tweeted: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami dismisses State Minister Harak Singh Rawat from the Cabinet: CMO. Rawat, a BJP MLA, has been expelled from the party for a term of 6 years.”

BJP’s state unit media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan told PTI that Harak Singh Rawat has been expelled from the party for six years on the instructions of Uttarakhand BJP President Madan Kaushik. Quoting Madan Kaushik, he told that he has been expelled from the primary membership of the party due to indiscipline. He said that indiscipline in the party will not be tolerated at all.
